Yes, it is I..back in the land of the living. Due to various reasons, I've been unwell, both mentally and physically. The physical problems have mainly been my hands swelling badly, something I thought was under control, but nearly a week of being practically unable to do anything proved me wrong. Even using a keyboard is proving to be a difficult task, I can only type with one finger, but that's improving slowly. Boat building has been totally off limits, I couldn't hold a screwdriver, let alone build anything.
The mental problems...well, due to people playing at being politicians instead of building boats caused my depression problems to return again. My doctor quickly issued some medication, and an order to keep away from anything submarine related for a while...this I've done, and I think the problems are now under control.
I'll not be building anything for a while, and I have to rest my hands for hours at a time, so I may not be on the forum as often as I have been, or as often as I would like, but I am still alive and kicking.
I hope you are all well, and your sub building is going according to plan.
Richard.
