One man's ideas on model submarines...
Hello Richard -
My name is John Bull (78) living in Germany. I recently joined AMS. My hulls are made of dog-food cans soldered together, with a sealed tinplate keel filled with lead and which is first sealed with beeswax poured in hot. Outside painted with epoxy-based lacquer. RC is used but intention is to build a self-steering system using a microcontroller (in design). For me function goes before detailed appearance!
Greetings
John Bull
