Just a few of the other boats I've built over the years..my steam launch, a modified Krick Victoria.

Re: Other boats I've built..
My favourite of all the surface boats I've built...an MFA Spearfish. Her numbers 006 earned her the nickname Oh Oh Sex..
She went through several different set ups in her lifetime, ranging from a Decaperm running on a 12v gel cell, various ic engines including an OPS .65 front induction, rear exhaust motor (that was pretty quick), but the best set up was when she was running a watercooled Ripmax Bullet 30 on a 20 cell pack of 4D (4a/h) nicads, she really flew on that set up.

Re: Other boats I've built..
Here's another of my old boats, my old tug named 'Berius', she started off as a Graupner Bugsier, but for some reason during the building of it I changed the superstructure.
She had working lights, steam whistle, and a firing tow hook made by Graham Sheppard (now of Hunter Systems)
She's pictured here on Princes Park Lake, Eastbourne.

And another..a Robbe Sea Jet nicknamed George. This one had a modified Tamiya race car motor running off a 12v 3200a/h nicad pack, it had so much power that from a full throttle standing start, it would run almost vertically just on the props.
Needless to say, I got banned from using George on my local club lake after the lake warden saw me accidentally strike and dismember a large goldfish...
(I do have another brand new Sea Jet kit which is going to have a brushless motor (the same as my funny car had) installed and a 11.1v 5000a/h LiPo battery)

And my infamous r/c kettle, HMS 'Silver Swan'. Built from our old electric kettle, it had a Monoperm Super motor, a 3 cell 4a/h nicad pack, and a home made smoke unit which would blow steam out of the spout.
This bought a whole new meaning to Bernie Wood's famous line ''Huggett, get the bloody kettle on...''
