    I had a lot of trouble trying to get a smoke generator to work simply and well in my Resurgam model (see the build log)

    This device would have been rather useful (search for the following on eBay):

    I'm giving up on this globalisation idea. You wait 4 months and it sinks at its moorings!

    But seriously, the unit sank in the mug over night. Obviously the seals weren't up to it. (Looks like the seal around the transducer.)

    So anyone trying this, you have been warned! Concept is good  though. Photo of innards while drying out (Later note: the electronics survived the dunking), below:
