From what I can gather, there were at least a couple of designs of concept boats with low or non-existant sails like this one, some had their sails mounted at the stern of the deck, some had huge great sails with lumps and bumps all over them, and at least one Russian design had a huge great radio mast mounted alongside the sail...how the hell it ever submerged I haven't a clue!
