    Hi Gents,

As I'm designing my WTC......the question of "which electronics" comes along.

My aft planes will serve for the Auto leveler, the Fwd will do the depth control.

But I want also some automatic depth control, I stumbled upon the Subtech - ADC1 Auto Depth Controller, anyone has experience with it? or is it just overkill?

The SubTech ADC-1 is an excellent unit, and one that makes holding depth -- particularly 'periscope depth' where you want to keep a video transmitting antenna above the waters surface -- an easy matter, especially when your view of the model is obstructed by virtual goggles as you enjoy the submerged models POV.

The trick with the ADC-1 is to position the sensor as far forward within the model submarine as possible. Other than that, the unit is easy to set up, operate and adjust. And you are still in the loop; you can override the bow/fairwater planes from the transmitter any time you wish, and fine-tune ordered depth with the transmitters trim lever. An excellent product!

Thks David, also received positive feedback from Subtech that this stuff works perfect on 40Mhz....better sure than sorry. I will go fore the package "Auto Pitch and Depth Controller".

Just want to inform that Subtech has stopped it’s business……it’s a pity but understandable.....the goods I received were very good quality and the service was excellent.......d*mn why this always happens with top notch stuff and sellers I really like.

Over the last 2 years I have been struggled with ever worsening close up eyesight, so I have decided that it is time to call it a day and take time out to pursue my other interests while I am still able to enjoy them.
