Very nice video Mark, what camera is that you use? I'm after getting one for my Neptune, I was thinking of another one of those keyfob ones because they are nice and small. Very impressive that, whatever camera it is.

well you know the pipe that go's from your sink to the grid think its called the waste pipe pinch a bit of it clean it really well or go to B & Q and buy a new piece
to make it water tight I used the light bulb type coupling but used 3 prongs? instead of two so the end cap twists on and tightens at the same time with a piece of perspex at the front used bath sealant to make a gasket/seal fob camera is a nice tight fit into the pipe

Yes, I know what you mean..got some of that pipe floating about. The last one I made out of an old torch complete with screw on lens, it did work ok but the the place where the switch was leaked, so I chucked it.

I'll make a start on the new one tomorrow...cheers Mark.

My 808 camera has just arrived...now to make the housing.

    Akula @ Hoylake Dsci0064

And here is the prototype housing...the detachable end is from an old torch and the housing is the tail cone of one of the now redundant Biber torpedo mouldings. The camera is simply pushed into the housing, two pieces of foam wedge it in place and then a couple of turns of plastic insulating tape hold it all together.

All that remains is make a quick release mount and we're done.

oh yea and quick release I am using 2 X rubber bands to hold mine on the bow of my sub would that be quick enough ?
